Mr. Opio Rocks!

This week we have gotten lots of good news.

First, we sent a letter to Mr. Opio, the social worker in Uganda who works for the courts, and he agreed to write our guardianship papers without seeing us again. We were lucky enough to have meet him when we were in Uganda last time to adopt Jonah.

Second, he sent us some documents to fill out. We sent them off on Friday, February 15, and they arrived in Jinja, Uganda on Tuesday, February 19. Great job FedEx! Once Mr. Opio signs and approves these documents we can apply for a court date.

As you can imagine, we are incredibly excited and can't wait to meet our daughter!

I-600 A Approved

Today we received our letter that our I-600 A was approved! We are sooooo excited. What does this mean? It means we have approval from the United States to bring a Ugandan orphan into the country. Now we just need to get the babies home to start the paperwork on their side. What a great gift for Faith Elizabeth's first birthday!
